Tips for First-Time Visitors

Bring Cash

Most traditional sento and onsen are cash-only. ATMs at convenience stores (7-Eleven, Lawson) accept foreign cards.

Go on Weekday Mornings

Weekends can get very crowded. Weekday mornings are usually quiet and peaceful — perfect for beginners.

Bring Your Own Toiletries

While most facilities provide soap and shampoo, bringing your own ensures you have products you're comfortable with.

Hydrate Before & After

The heat can be intense. Drink water before entering, and especially after your session to avoid dehydration.

Allow 2–3 Hours

Don't rush the experience. Plan for at least 2 hours to properly enjoy the baths, sauna, and rest periods.

Check Policies in Advance

Tattoo policies and opening hours vary. Check the facility's website or call ahead if you have concerns.
